I love photography. I love how it seems that photography chose me so that I could learn to become a true artist. I'd call myself a beginner still. About 4 years ago a friend became my photography mentor and she taught me workflow, editing and all the details that it takes to become a destination wedding photographer. We practiced and shared our journeys together for a time. She had a bit more experience and vision for where she was going, and I was just following my bliss and wanting to pursue art as a sustainable and healthy livelihood. I switched gears from solely shooting weddings and have been embracing the flow of versatility. I love elopements, dance, poetry, sacred portraiture, traveling, spiritual ceremonies and making art out of everything. This art form is giving me so much in the sense of self esteem, spiritual connection and being alive! I recognize photography as a great gift in my life and a teacher who is showing me the world.
